Stewart Cook grew up in the small town of Ekalaka and graduated high school there in 2016. He completed his first year of college at Montana State University, Bozeman, and will be attending the university again in the fall. He is currently working towards a degree in Paleontology and other sciences.

For the past six years Stewart has been working with Ekalaka’s local museum, the Carter County Museum. He has been involved in the collections, field work, and educational missions that the museum has set out to do. This work is almost not even a job anymore, but a pleasure. It was first a way to gain experience in the field he wanted to delve into, but he soon began to play a part in its growth. Today he feels as though he is  part of a family. He hopes that his continued education and experience will eventually help the museum grow even further and advance science in my community and the world.
