Nominated by Lauren Caldwell, Denise Juneau, Brenna Davis, and Emily Harris

This fall Ella Currier will start school at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and will be majoring in International Studies. She first began working in politics in 2016, when she came on as a fellow with the Denise Juneau for US Congress campaign. This fellowship sparked an intense interest in local, statewide, and national politics. In 2016 she also volunteered with MDLCC on several legislative races in Helena. During the winter, she worked with Forward Montana as an intern, which allowed her to work on the periphery of the 2017 Legislative Session. In the spring, she worked on the Helena School Bond campaign, and as a paid canvasser with the Rob Quist for US Congress campaign. This summer, she is the Helena Field Captain for Forward Montana, and is one of MDLCC’s summer fellows. She can’t wait to continue her involvement in politics in Minnesota while she’s in college!
