AliCia Pettys | Billings, MT

Alicia Pettys is Lead Community Organizer at Northern Plains Resource Council, where she's worked since 2013 to promote clean energy and local food, and build more diverse local economies that work for all of us. Notable accomplishments include working to establish the Yellowstone Valley Food Hub, a local food marketing and distribution business that will move local food from farm to fork; leading an almost-successful legislative campaign for a new financing program to help people afford the upfront cost of energy efficiency upgrades to their homes and businesses; and getting more young adults involved in Billings civic life.

Alicia graduated summa cum laude from Kalamazoo College in Michigan in 2013 with a degree in anthropology, sociology, and economics. She currently sits on the board of Good Earth Market Co-op and the Billings League of Women Voters. In her spare time, you can find Alicia gardening, practicing yoga or adventuring outdoors.
