MICAH MCFEELY | WHITEFISH, MT
Nominated by Amara Reese-Hansell
Micah McFeely bleeds blue and gold as Montana State University’s most recently elected student body Vice-President. Since attending a “Common Ground” retreat in her first weekend of college, Micah quickly became passionate about issues concerning her fellow bobcats. At MSU, she has volunteered as a peer advocate to survivors of interpersonal violence, a Safe Zone Project Facilitator, Sustained Dialogue moderator, led an international student buddy program, and worked as a Resident Advisor to over 40 freshman students.
Micah’s personal and academic life has steered her in the direction of public service as she intends to use her undergraduate field of economics as a lense and platform to obtain a professional degree in Public Policy or Law. Micah is committed to tackling community health issues in historically underserved populations. When she has a moment to breathe, Micah McFeely prefers fresh air, black coffee, and good company.
