Katherine Budeski | Bozeman, MT

Katherine is a Bozeman native that is currently attending Montana State University. She serves as the president of the Not In Our House Task Force, which is working to unify students to establish a culture of respect at MSU by raising awareness about equality, offering students tools on bystander intervention and creating a community where interpersonal violence is not tolerated. She is also an advocate and peer educator at the MSU VOICE Center, a 24-hour confidential service that provides advocacy to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. In addition, Katherine works in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Bothner in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and as a phlebotomist at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. In her free time she enjoys fly fishing, skiing, reading and hosting dinner parties. Katherine plans on attending medical school to become a surgeon specializing in obstetrics and gynecology alongside receiving either a Master’s in Public Health or International Relations.
