Jess DellaRossa is a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Montana in Resource Conservation and Climate Change Studies. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Senior in Resource Conservation and was recognized as the Best Project in Social Science for her research on “Institutional Mapping of Montana Water Law”. Before she attended UM, she studied at Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois where she was an active member of Student Senate serving as the Freshman Class President, Head of Budget and Finance Committee and a member of Campus Activities Board. She created a recycling club to inform her peers about being good stewards within their community. Her passion for sustainability guided her to work for Montana Conservation Voters. With this organization, she canvassed to elect candidates and advocate for solar energy, and lobbied for conservation policy at the state and national levels. She is moving to California to pursue further environmental efforts before attending grad school.
