Nominated by Scott Gaiser

Born in California, Annabel Conger grew up in Columbia Falls Montana and attended Columbia Falls High School all four years. She competed in Policy Debate, taking first place at the Class A Montana State Tournament this last season. When she’s not slaving away on the debate topic of the season, she excels in Model United Nations, Academic Worldquest, Science Fair, and a litany of other clubs and organizations. But despite her many accolades, Annabel is most proud of starting CFHS’s school’s first Gay-Straight Alliance; creating a safe space for all of the LGBT+ students and working to educate the rest of the school. She will be attending Stanford University in the fall, studying biology and astrophysics. She dreams of eventually getting to work for NASA and one day, she’ll be sitting in a tin can, far above the world, studying biology in space.
