Born in Billings, Montana, Amelia Marquez believes in the power of community, dedication, and passion. Amelia grew up at 2317 Montana Avenue, better known as Venture Theatre. Working with productions such as RENT, West Side Story, and Into the Woods taught Amelia that there really is “No day but today”, “There’s a place for us”, and “No one is alone”.
After acquiring a degree in Communication at MSU Billings, Amelia became the vice chair of the Yellowstone County Democrats and announced their candidacy for House District 52.
Amelia is inspired daily by past mentors including, and of course not limited to, Robert Wood, Lynn Al, Sarah Butts, and Patrick and Shad Scott-Wilson. Today, Amelia is honored to have amazing people who still challenge, engage, and inspire those around them. Finally, Amelia would like to thank Rebecca & Javier Marquez. They are the best parents anyone could ask for.
