Administrative & Development Coordinator
Position Status: Part Time, 20 hours/week, Flexible

Forward Montana is dedicated to engaging and mobilizing young Montanans to shape their democracy to improve their lives and the lives of fellow Montanans. We put young people on the front lines of civic engagement statewide, basing our efforts out of our two offices in Missoula and Bozeman, and our satellite branch in Billings.
Forward Montana & Forward Montana Foundation (FMT) seeks an Administrative & Development Coordinator to manage office, administrative, and some development duties. The Administrative & Development Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Director and will be responsible for the following duties/tasks:
Office Management & Administration
Coordinate and oversees the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the organization.
Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.
Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts (rent, service, other vendors, etc.)
Spearhead administrative tasks and compliance, including insurance and annual filings.
Database and Development Management
Manage donor tracking systems including but not limited to member and supporter lists, online donations, and ROCKSTAR monthly membership processing.
Manage the NGP database, to ensure supporter information is accurate, up to date, and searchable.
Support staff and board with development meeting coordination, follow-through, and thank you process.
Track and update progress to fundraising goals.
Support the ED in development research of donors, foundations, and other revenue streams.
Special Event Management
Spearhead logistics of the Annual Williams Effect: 25 under 25 event.
Spearhead logistics of the Annual Rockstar Hall of Fame event to recognize supporters.
Support staff and board in logistics for house parties and other development and outreach events.
Well-organized: with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
Deadline and detailed oriented: can prioritize tasks without much oversight.
Ability not to take oneself too seriously: has a sense of humor and the dexterity to be both laid-back and serious when necessary.
A team player: gets along well with others and can pitch in when needed.
A problem-solver: should be able to think ahead, troubleshoot potential problems, seek solutions, and help the team meet their goals.
Reliable: can consistently perform duties, communicate challenges, and follow-through on projects.

Administrative, office, or development experience is preferred but not necessary. An ideal candidate is a well-organized, problem solver who is attentive to detail.
